There are a few things I will never forget

Whenever I sit down and think about when I went off to galavant around the world, there are a few things that come to mind a lot more frequently than others and to be honest there is probably a very good reason for that as you will see but I though I would tell y'all about them.

In order of when they happened

The car accident on the way to Cooma (NSW Australia)

I have to admit this was one of the most terrifing things that has ever happened to me. I really thought I was going to die. The Ute skidded on gravel on the side of the road, skidded to the right hand side then as the wheels got there grip again we shot up that enbankment on the right side of the photograph and then bounced back down again. We were both alright in the car but it was still bloody scary! Just to let you know there was $27,000 of damage done to the Ute (the insurance paid for that though)

Kangaroo Hunting in Braidwood (NSW Australia)

Now this isn't for the fait hearted! I though I was good with blood and guts, but in real life its a lot worse than say if your watching a film. It was the first time i had ever seen an amimal shot before andto be honest it itsn't something I want to see again. The farmer that I was staying with asked if i want to come with him and I thought yeah why not, its not something I'm ever going to get to see again and to be honest I'm glad that I went and saw what happens but.....never again.

The friends I didn't think I would make (Bundaberg QLD)
Photobucket
Its a common thing with me that I don't make female friends easily. I have about 3. And arriving in a working hostel in Bundaberg I thought I was doomed to be a loner, everyone had their cliques an the girls in my room looked like a right load of bitches. However, don't judge a book by its cover, they were some of the best friends i made whilst being there and for once, I became better friends with the girls than the boys! These two girls with me were living in the same dorm as me, and well to be perfectly honest I do hope to get to see them again.

I just had an off day :D

Ta Phrom (Siem Reap Cambodia)
Photobucket
This was one of the most amazing things I had ever seen. the only downside was this was the last temple I visited on my way round and really I shouldnt have left it that late, I had woken up at 4ish to get up to see the sun rise over Angkor Wat and by this time was knakered so I decided to cut it short and only see the first part of the temple which is a shame, but as I don't know what I missed then I'm happy with what I saw.

Fishing on the beach (Bamboo Island Cambodia)
Photobucket
There is nothing more relaxing than sitting on a beach, on an almost uninhabited island, on a lovely hot day, trying to catch your own fish. The Sun was hot, the water was warm and the fish were biting. I promise...there isnt anything better.

Ha Long Bay (Vietnam)
Photobucket
I wasn't a fan of Vietnam at all, but this just made up for it. Eventhough the guide swore at me and called me a bitch, the food was awfull and we had to get up very early, the veiw was worth it. The Vietnamese are trying to establish Ha Long Bay as a Natural Wonder of the World and honestly I think it should be.

The girls I met tubing (Vang Vieng Laos)
Photobucket
Ok well I didnt meet them tubing, I met them all on a horrible bus journey from Hanoi to Vientiane but that didn't sound good enough for a title and we all did go tubing when we eventually got there after the 20 hours from Hanoi and another hilarious 4 hour journey from Vientiane to Vang Vieng on a locals bus packed in the back with all sorts of fruit and vegetables. In the 3 or 4 days that I was with these guys I got to know then pretty well and when I eventually get myself back to Austalia then I'm definatly going to make my way down to Melbourne to see them.
